Use of a correlation method for studying aerosol generation effects
A correlation method for a system of particles of various sizes has been used to study the generation of latex aerosols and wind-induced particles above the surface. The analysis of correlation for particle size distribution at various instants of time allows an understanding of their mutual transformations such as growth, dividing into parts, and coagulation. Some of these processes are found by the experimental data correlation. The correlation method for a number of particles is shown to hold much promise for analysing the evolution processes in the dispersed systems. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
