Deposition efficiency of droplets on an obstacle in two phase flow
The majority of papers devoted to the problem of deposition efficiency of droplets on an obstacle are theoretical in its character. The presented results are the effect of theoretical considerations and usually are presented graphically as plots showing the dependence of the deposition efficiency on the Stokes number with the Reynolds number as a parameter. It renders the analysis of the influence of separate parameters such as velocity or droplet size difficult. The comparison of the results reported by different authors is also not easy due to different ways of presentation of the results. It has been therefore undertaken an effort to present the deposition efficiency as a set of algebraic functions representing general relations resulting from numerical data.
