Ammonia removal from aqueous solutions containing carbon dioxide by stripping with air. Process model verification
Experimental results of ammonia removal from aqueous solutions containing carbon dioxide by stripping with air have been presented. Correlations describing physical mass transfer coefficients in both phases have been verified experimentally. Mathematical model of the process has also been verified experimentally. Comparisons conducted pointed to the possibility of desorber simulation at satisfactory level of prediction error.
