Influence of velocity and size of the droplets on the heat transfer in spray cooling
A quasi-stationary determination method for the heat transfer coefficient is described for spray cooling of surfaces heated to high temperatures using the advantages of thermography. The dependence on the main influence parameter the mass flux and on the velocity and characteristic diameter d(30) of the droplets is investigated. Both additional parameters are determined using a PDA system.
