Electropolymerization of Pyrrole on Pbo2/SnO2/Ti Substrate
Electropolymerization of pyrrole was carried out on a PbO2/SnO2/Ti substrate. The growth behaviors for electropolymerization of pyrrole were examined via cyclic voltammograms and scanning electron microscopy. The effects of pyrrole concentrations, electrolyte concentrations, temperatures, and current densities on the total deposition weight of film per Coulomb were investigated. Additionally, the incorporation weight of lithium perchlorate per Coulomb was also studied under a galvanostatic formation. The results indicated that the total deposition weight of film per Coulomb increased and the incorporation weight of lithium perchlorate per Coulomb increased with an increase in the concentration of pyrrole, the concentration of electrolyte and temperature. Both the deposition weight of film per Coulomb and the incorporation weight of lithium perchlorate per Coulomb decreased with an increase in the current density.
