Ir Spectroscopic Study of SO2, Adsorption on Polysiloxane Layers Containing Tertiary Amino-Groups
It is shown by means of IR spectroscopy that a complex compound of the donor-acceptor type is formed during SO2 adsorption on polysiloxane layers modified wih alkylamines. The frequency shifts are observed for the normal vibrations of the perturbed SO2 molecule in the complex. The reaction of complex formation is reversible at room temperature.
