The TPR (temperature programmed reduction) study of the AlVMoO7 phase, belonging to the Al2O3-V2O5-MoO3 system, has been carried out by means of X-ray diffraction analysis, IR spectroscopy and SEM scanning electron microscopy (including EPMA analysis). The reduction behavior of V2O5 and MoO3 monometallic oxides is included for comparison.
