Comparative study of electrical properties of thin films and sintered pellets of Ca1-xErxF2+x compositions
Electrical characterizations of different compositions of the fluorite-type Ca1-xErxF2 divided by x (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.38) solid solution on the form of sintered pellets and thin films have allowed to evaluate the influence of the morphology on the electrical properties. Results obtained are discussed and correlated to growth rate of clustering process which is developing when x increases.
