Characterization of Ni-W oxide thin film electrodes
Ni-W oxide thin films were fabricated by cc-sputtering of nickel and tungsten in oxygen ambient. It has been found that the tungsten amount is very closely related to the lithium intercalation kinetics. This new material has been found to show anodic coloration with lithium ions. Compared with NiOx, thin films, Ni-W oxide thin films showed considerable improvements in charge transfer density and optical response.
