Hydrostatic pressure effects on resistivity and Neel temperature of the ordered perovskite oxide Ba-2(FeMo)O6-delta
Hydrostatic pressure effects on resistivity and Neel temperature of B site 1:1 ordered perovskite oxide Ba-2(FeMo)O6-delta with oxygen deficiency delta approximate to 0.1 were studied up to 13 kbar. The sample has a Neel temperature of 282 K, which increases linearly with pressure at a rate of 1.69 K kbar(-1). The resistivity of the sample is low and shows metal-like behavior. Under applied pressure, the resistivity is depressed. The above results show similar trends as in the case of chemical pressure.
