Origin of potential difference selfgenerated by reaction and transport processes
It is shown that potential difference which may be observed in model reaction cells generates usually in the zone reaction. In the special cases when oxides possess low surface energy and high surface mobility the potential drop may be attributed to the stage of surface transfer. A new experimental technique is elaborated which allows the detection of a number of thin peculiarities of the reaction mechanism.
