Proton-containing groups mobility in tantalum(V) acid phosphate has been investigated with the help of wide line LH NMR. The presence of rotational mobility of H5O2+-ion and proton translation in this compound was shown. The data obtained were discussed with the use of structural information and correlated with the earlier described proton conductivity of H5O2Ta(PO4)(2).
