Dynamically Compacted Rechargeable Ceramic Lithium Batteries
A rechargeable ceramic battery is made of a LixMn2O4 (x = 1.1) cathode, a graphite anode and a BPO4:yLi(2)O (y similar or equal to 0.035) solid electrolyte by dynamic compaction. This battery system has a theoretical open-circuit potential of 4.2 V and a high energy density, which makes it interesting for application in electric vehicles.
