Electronic Conductivity of MgO-Doped Na-Beta-Alumina - A Reevaluation
Due to a Raw in the evaluation of Hebb-Wagner polarization measurements which were published some time ago the resulting p-electron conductivity data are incorrect. As these data have so far been regarded important from the viewpoint that in the low temperature range they might represent an alternative conductivity level significantly different from other results, the original measuring data are re-evaluated. Particular importance is attached to the question of how the suggestion of the occurrence of two conductivity levels is affected. It turns out that the answer to this question depends on whether the experimental data are re-evaluated according to the Hebb-Wagner theory, i.e., conventionally, or, since the data do definitely not obey this theory, according to an advanced relationship.
