Influence of Trivalent Cation Doping on the Ionic-Conductivity of KtiOPO4
The complex electrical conductivity of flux grown KTiOPO4 (KTP) was studied as a function of temperature, frequency and trivalent cation doping level. The conductivity of KTP is very anisotropic; it behaves like a one dimensional ionic conductor along the polar axis. Doping with Sc and Cr lowers the conductivity and increases the apparent activation energy.
