Li-7 NMR Relaxation by Diffusion in Hexagonal and Cubic Lixtis2
The motion of Li ions in the quasi-two-dimensional (2D) hexagonal and the three-dimensional (3D) cubic structures of the two modifications of the intercalation compound LixTiS2 (0 < x less-than-or-equal-to 1) has been studied by means of nuclear magnetic relaxation spectroscopy. The Li-7 spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) times in the laboratory and the rotating frame were measured at various frequencies as a function of temperature. The results are discussed with regard to the influence of dimensionality and correlation effects.
