New Fluoride-Conducting Glass-Ceramics in the System SiO2-PbO-PbF2
Fluoride conducting glass-ceramic, were obtained from glasses of the system SiO2-PbO-PbF2. Two types of crystallization behaviour have been established leading to an increase or decrease of conductivity for up to three decades, respectively. Relations between structure and conductivity of the glass-ceramics are discussed.
