Gas Electrode Impedance with Slow Adsorption and Surface-Diffusion
A theoretical study has been made of the impedance of the solid oxide electrolyte/gas electrode interface with nonuniform transport properties. The coefficient of surface diffusion of oxygen over platinum has been estimated (D less than or equal to 10(-13) m(2)/s) with high degrees of filling of the adsorbing layer.
