The Removable Screen Media Activated Sludge （RESMAS） process is proposed to be used for the biological treatment of waste water. This process can eliminate the settling tank and concentration facilities for the waste sludge. Also the effluent quality can be predicted by the concept of the Maximum Solid Holding Capacity. This process is considered to be most suitable for the handling waste waters from small industries and municipal sewage.
