Absolute Stability of Systems Under Block Diagonal Memoryless Uncertainties
Absolute stability of systems under block diagonal uncertainties is studied. A quadratic Lyapunov function is used. It is found that the quadratic stability condition of such a system is equivalent to that of systems with uncertainties restricted to be rank one matrices. The main technique used is exact penalization in nonsmooth analysis.
