This review looks at the potential of capillary electrophoresis (CE) with micelles or chiral selectors for the determination of drug related impurities and the monitoring of optical and chiral selector purity. The major benefits of CE over high performance liquid chromatography are high efficiency, fast and low-cost analysis, small sample volumes, and low reagent consumption.
