The study was carried out for the purpose of the basic data, which are necessary to design the plant for the elumination of the corrosive CO₂ in water, by using Calcite, Dolomite and Magnesia Clinker as a filter material which are produced in Korea.
The reaction mechanism and the reaction rates with the conditions of various temperatures and flow rates were investigated.
The over-all reaction for the cases of all materials is expressed as the first order, and then basic data being necessary for plant design were obtained.
