Destruction of Organic-Compounds in a High-Frequency Discharge Plasma at Reduced Pressure
Conditions of the destruction of organic compounds in a hf discharge plasma at reduced pressure and parameters of this plasma type are determined. The plasma reactor for destruction of organic compounds in this discharge plasma is described. the reactor design enables one to analyze destruction products without artefacts. The main plasmalysis product in the inert plasma in carbon black. The hydrocarbon (toluene, n-heptane) destruction efficiency in a helium-oxygen plasma under optimum conditions is higher than 99.9%.
