Microelemental composition of crude oils and accompanying waters from the Nizhnekurinsk region of the South Caspian basin
The results are given of a study by the atomic absorption method of the microelemental composition of crude oils and accompanying waters from the Nizhnekurinsk oil- and gas-bearing region of the South Caspian basin of Azerbaidzhan. The similarity and difference in the microelemental composition of crude oils and accompanying waters of the Mishovdag, Kyurovdag, Kyursangya and Neftechala fields have been established. The predominant elements are Mn, Mo and Ca, and the greatest overall content of metals (258.63 x 10(-3) wt.%) is observed in low-paraffin Kyurovdag crude oil.
