Cracking of different types of petroleum feedstock with the use of heavy metal passivators
A study has been made of the cracking of vacuum gas oil, hydrotreated vacuum gas oil and furfural extract of oil production on a zeolite-containing catalyst with the use of an antimony-containing passivator of heavy metals. It has been established that the effectiveness of the passivator depends directly on the amount of aromatic compounds in the initial feedstock.
