INVESTIGATION OF THE STABILITY OF A RHODIUM CARBONYL CATALYST MODIFIED WITH TRIPHENYLPHOSPHINE UNDER OLEFIN HYDROFORMYLATION CONDITIONS
It has been established in experiments that a rhodium carbonyl catalyst modified with PPh(3) is labile under hydroformylation conditions. An investigation has been made of the influence of certain parameters on the degree of deactivation of a rhodium-phosphine hydroformylation catalyst. It has been found that the catalyst is deactivated by components of the reaction medium, with the probable formation of polynuclear rhodium phosphide-carbonyl clusters.
