INFLUENCE OF CYCLOPENTANE AND DIMETHYL SULFIDE ON THE ISOMERIZATION OF N-PENTANE IN THE PRESENCE OF A PLATINUM-ALUMINA CATALYST PROMOTED BY BERYLLIUM FLUORIDE
It has been shown that the promotion of industrial catalyst IF-62 by beryllium fluoride lowers significantly the poisoning action of cyclopentane in the isomerization of n-pentane. It has been established that beryllium fluoride has no adverse effect on the sulphur resistance of platinum-alumina catalysts for the isomerization of n-pentane.
