Factors, determining the type of oil displacement from low productivity intervals, are discussed, and recommendations for selection of the most viable oil recovery technology are substantiated. The features of oil displacement mechanism are described, which is determined by pore space structure (grain-size composition, degree and nature of secondary changes within reservoir, type and composition of pore cement). The conclusion is made, that main perspectives for the increase of efficiency of Jurassic pools development should be connected not with enhancement of well completion quality, but with application of technologies, capable of increasing productive pool drainage area.
