Of great importance are considered technical decisions, which eliminate additional strain on sucker-rods and driving mechanism, thus increasing working rt sources of in-hole equipment. One of such decisions is application of walking beam-free chain drive with mechanism of transforming of rotation movement into reciprocating action with flexible joints. Pilot version of chain drive TsP-5 has been developed in Bugulma branch of Open Joint Stock Association <>; its technical specifications and results of pilot tests are presented in the article.
