The radical anion of tetracyanoquinodimethane has been intercalated into a layered double hydroxide by two different methods : constant pH coprecipitation and calcination-rehydration of a [Zn-AI-CI] layered double hydroxide. The relationship between synthesis and characterization of products obtained is discussed.
