Methane Oxidative Coupling in an Undiluted Reaction Mixture in a Reactor-Adsorber System with Gas Recirculation
Results of the oxidative coupling of methane obtained in a reactor-adsorber system with gas recirculation, with a continuous supply of the methane-oxygen reaction mixture without a diluent gas (p(CH4 + O-2) = 1 atm, CH4:O-2 = 20:1), are described. At total methane conversion equal to 94%, the O-2, hydrocarbon selectivity of the process was 70%, while ethylene contents was 92% in the obtained hydrocarbons.
