Water-Blown thermoplastic elastomers rubber phase (TPV) embedded in a polypropylene matrix can replace foam rubber of ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) in seals. As a thermoplastic with good mechanical qualities together, good ageing, oil and heat resistance, its low weight, ease of pigmenting and recyclability, furthermore, are unlocking innovative applications for these foams.
