Two types of plastic wastes, foils and plasic bags as well as materials from the recycling of worn-out vehicles were processed by low-temp. pyrolysis at 425 degrees C, 450 degrees C, 475 degrees C. The carbonizates were tested for the contents of C, Cl, N, S and H. Their bulk d., heat of combustion, calorific value, volatile and flammable parts and ash content were detd.
