Fabrication of Pt/WO3 Films for Visible Hydrogen Sensing at Room Temperature
Pt/WO3 thin film on borosilicate glass is applied for reversible visible hydrogen sensing. The hydrogen concentration dependent film transmittance changed from 82% (transparent) to 43% (blue) upon hydrogen exposure at room temperature, initial film transmittance was restored in air, and the film was stable for at least 10% H-2/N-2-air cycles without degradation.
