Three com. species of Ag and Cu nanoparticles-contg. foliar fertilizers were used in spring vegetation period for growing 3 species of crops (winter wheat, maize and sugar beet) in field expts. Use of the Ag or Cu nanoparticles-contg. fertilizers applied on plant leaves twice at a concn. of 1% resulted in an increase the grain yield of winter wheat and maize. The crops were compared with control test fertilized without the nanoparticles. In the lab. tests, the addn. of the fertilizers to org. medium at a concn. of 0.5% limited the development of pathogenes. The Ag and Cu-contg. fertilizer applied at the dose of twice 2 L/ha increased the yield of sugar beet roots.
