Research on Binary Phase Equilibrium for 1-Methylnaphthalene + CO2
High-pressure vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the binary system of 1-methylnaphthalene + CO2 were measured using a set of visible phase equilibrium-measuring apparatus with the analytical isobaric-isothermal method, and then, the measured data were correlated with the Peng-Robinson equation of state (PR EOS) and Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state (SRK EOS), in combination with different mixing rules of Adachi-Sugie, Melhem, and Panagiotopoulos-Reid. Compared with the correlation derivations from different models, the model of PR EOS + PR mixing rule leads to a relatively satisfactory correlation for the 1-methylnaphthalene + CO2 system.
