Structured Zeolite Monoliths with Ultrathin Framework for Fast CO2 Adsorption Enabled by 3D Printing
3D printing provides an excellent solution for the preparation and structure optimization in producing structured zeolite monoliths. However, the developed 3D printed zeolite monolith structures are still coarse, which hinders further optimization of fluid distribution and transfer process within the monoliths. Based on digital light processing, a highly precise structured zeolite preparation process is proposed. An ultrathin framework with a thickness of 250 mu m was fabricated after sintering. Benefiting from the bespoke structured design, the printed monolith shows obvious improvement in dynamic adsorption performance. Subsequent optimization of the composition of the slurry material and sintering process would be done to increase its adsorption capacity.
