Four corn. TiO2 photocatalysts were studied for antibacterial activity against Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Gram-positive Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. Efficient photocatalytic disinfection of water was achieved by using 2 of the catalyst under UV-Vis radiation. None of the tested photocatalysts showed bacteriostatic properties in dark.
