Nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide emissions from the application of inorganic and natural fertilizers in selected silage maize cultivation technologies
Emissions of N2O and CO2 from 27 cultivation technol. of maize covering an area of 0.67-11.3 ha were evaluated. On the basis of an amt. of fertilizers used, the N2O and CO2 emissions were estd. and referred to the area of cultivation, the fresh and dry matter yield. The emissions value expressed in an equiv. unit taking into account the greenhouse potential of the analyzed gases was 1700 kg of CO2 equiv. per yield from 1 ha.
