Dry reforming of methane on supported catalysts based on nickel as an example of technology limiting emission level of greenhouse gases
Three CeO2-Zro(2)-supported NiOx catalysts were prepd. under supercrit. conditions and studied by structural (X-ray diffraction) and textural (surface area anal. BET and scanning electron microscopy SEM) methods. The catalyst containing 10% by mass of NiO and binary CeO2-ZrO2 supports of variable compn. were tested in dry MeH reforming. High activity and stability of the catalysts were confirmed. All catalysts gave about 80% and 70% conversion of CO2 and MeH, resp., at 800 degrees C.
