Environmentally compatible synthesis of LiMnPO4/RGO using pure water system
Although we certainly benefit from modern communications and transportation technologies that are powered by lithium-ion batteries, it is necessary to concurrently bear responsibility for the environmental contamination associated with their production. Hence, our aim to develop an environmentally compatible/pollution-free green synthesis process is of particular importance. In this study, we employed pure water instead of an organic solvent as the reaction medium to realize the green synthesis of well-crystallized LiMnPO4/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanopowder at low temperature (102 degrees C) and constant atmospheric pressure, where the alkyl indican nonionic surfactant (APG06) plays a vital role in the reaction outcome.
