Investigations of structural, optical and electrical properties of Cu2+ doped Y2O3 nanosheets
Y2O3 was prepared with different dopant ratios of copper by solution combustion synthesis method using green fuel. As-prepared materials were analyzed using various analytical techniques. Powder XRD depicts the structural property of the materials. Optical absorption spectra were evaluated by diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS) and observed the maximum absorption around 450 nm. FTIR spectra were used to analyze the organic moieties present in the compound. Morphological aspects and chemical composition were estimated by FESEM images and ED spectra. PL spectra were taken to observe the emission of the materials. Resistivity and conductivity measurements confirm the materials were semiconductors.
