Synthesis and crystal structure of a novel polymeric silver(I) complex
The complex of [Ag-2(mu-L)(2)(mu-NO3)(2)](n),where L = 2-methyl-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole, has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystals are in triclinic system with space group P-1. Complex [Ag-2(mu-L)(2)(mu-NO3)(2)](n) is a polymeric silver(I) complex bridged through the 1,3,4-oxadiazole rings and the nitrate ions, and the center Ag1(I) atoms have distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries [AgN3O2].
