The paper reports on new products and technology trends in process automation technique of the gas- and liquid analyzers presented at ACHEMA 2018. The products are structured by manufacturers and described with information on the measurement methods used and areas of application and approvals. Properties for special use like safety measurement for personnel and plant applications and approval for environmental use are given. Another focus is the system and communication technique of analyzers.
