Vapor-liquid equilibria for supercritical carbon dioxide plus butanol systems at 313.2 K
Isothermal vapor-liquid equilibria for CO2 + 1-butanol and CO2 + 2-butanol at 313.2 K were measured using a high pressure view-cell with circulation of both vapor and liquid phases. The experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium results for the CO2 fl-butanol system were compared with four sets of data from literature. The results were correlated with the Peng-Robinson equation of state and the perturbed hard-sphere equation of state.
