The Study on the Separation, Antitumor Activitiy as New Substanes in Fig
Fig fruit was extracted with methanol and then fractionated with n-butanol and chloroform. and The anticancer activities of these separated compounds were investigated in terms of MTT assy method by against L1210 and Vero cells, Figure 1 represent the separation method of samples[A-e] as were screened for anticancer, antifungal activity. Among them, sample No.[G] showed potent inhibition activity. Generally, many samples showed biological activity in vitro test. The above results showed the possibility of the development of antifungal and anticancer agents, Our future study will be use of bioactive compounds from these separated materials.
