This study presents the reply to the "Comments on ["Classification of solar radiation zones and general models for estimating the daily global solar radiation on horizontal surfaces in China" [Energy Conversion and Management 154 (2017) 168-179] by Liu et al.]" proposed by Gouda and Yuan. In their letter, they proposed some comments mainly focused on the models and general models. They were answered point to point in this study.
