ADAPTIVE OUTPUT FEEDBACK STABILIZATION OF n plus m COUPLED LINEAR HYPERBOLIC PDEs WITH UNCERTAIN BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
We combine a swapping-based adaptive observer with a backstepping-based control law to stabilize a system of n + m coupled linear hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs) with uncertain boundary parameters, using boundary sensing only. Proof of boundedness and square integrability in the L-2-sense of all signals in the closed loop is given, and the theory is demonstrated in a simulation.
