There are many techniques for separation and recovery of Pb(II) from a acidic solution. In this paper, batch experiments were carried out to investigate separation characteristics of Pb(II) by strong basic anion exchange resins such as IRN 78 and Dowex 1x8 etc. The effects of ionic group of resins, solution temperature, and the concentration of nitric acid were investigated. And the characteristics of elution by the eluents such as nitric acid and thiourea solution were also studied.
