Preparation of Functional Anion-exchange Resin and Selective Adsorption of Palladium
Adsorption methods are widely used and are the most effective precess for separation of noble metal ions from aqueous solution. In this study, a new functional resin derivative with a heterocyclic side chain was synthesized by modification of aminated macroporous polystyrene-co-divinylbenzene resin with phenylenediamine. The adsorption experiments of palladium in nitric acid solution were carried out and the adsorption behavior was examined by comparing with a conventional anion-exchange resin such as Dowex 1x8-400 and IRN-78.
